Hoopa 55/73 · Shining Legends

Hoopa is Pokédex #720, generation 6 (Kalos). Hoopa is a Basic Darkness Pokémon with 120 HP.

Hoopa sits at 55/73 in Shining Legends, position 56 of 81. Before it is 54 Yveltal, and after it is 56 Shining Rayquaza. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on October 6, 2017. The printed size is 73. This checklist is longer, at 81 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Scoundrel Guard is listed as Ability. Prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this Pokémon by your opponent's Pokémon-GX or Pokémon-EX. The attack Super Psy Bolt lists 80 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "In its true form, it possess a huge amount of power. Legends of its avarice tell how it once carried off an entire castle to gain the treasure hidden within."

Hoopa (#720) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Hoopa-EX XY71/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card is named Hoopa-EX, while this one is Hoopa. That card lists 170 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Eske Yoshinob illustrated that card, and TOKIYA illustrated this one. 17 other cards of Hoopa list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads TOKIYA. I count 93 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Shining Legends set binder is where a full Shining Legends set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Hoopa can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
