Lunala 70/168 · Celestial Storm

Lunala is Pokédex #792, generation 7 (Alola). Lunala is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 160 HP. The card says it evolves from Cosmoem. In this catalog that name is Cosmoem (#790).

Lunala sits at 70/168 in Celestial Storm, position 71 of 187. Before it is 69 Deoxys, and after it is 71 Onix. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 3, 2018. The printed size is 168. This checklist is longer, at 187 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Shadow Shield is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon has any Psychic Energy attached to it, it takes 20 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Full Moon Ray lists 80+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Psychic. This attack does 20 more damage times the amount of Energy attached to your opponent's Active Pokémon. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It is said to be a female evolution of Cosmog. When its third eye activates, away it flies to another world."

Lunala (#792) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lunala-GX 66/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). That card is named Lunala-GX, while this one is Lunala. That card lists 250 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo GX, and here it is Rare Holo. PLANETA illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Lunala list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Celestial Storm set binder is where a full Celestial Storm set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lunala can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
