Altaria SV37/94 · Hidden Fates Shiny Vault

Altaria is Pokédex #334, generation 3 (Hoenn). Altaria is a Stage 1 Dragon Pokémon with 80 HP. The card says it evolves from Swablu. In this catalog that name is Swablu (#333).

Altaria sits at SV37/94 in Hidden Fates Shiny Vault, position 37 of 94. Before it is SV36 Diancie, and after it is SV38 Gible. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 23, 2019. The printed size is 94, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Shiny.

Fight Song is listed as Ability. Your Dragon Pokémon's attacks do 20 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Pierce lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fairy ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "On sunny days, it flies freely through the sky and blends into the clouds. It sings in a beautiful soprano."

Altaria (#334) has 38 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 28 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2024. The earliest other card is Altaria 2/97 in Dragon (2003). Both list 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Shiny. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and kirisAki illustrated this one. 30 other cards of Altaria list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads kirisAki. I count 189 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set binder is where a full Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Altaria can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
