Destined Rivals is a set in the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on May 30, 2025. The printed size is 182. This checklist is longer, at 244 cards. Electivire ex is 69/182, in position 69 of 244 on this checklist. Before it is 68 Electabuzz, and after it is 70 Team Rocket's Zapdos. The listed rarity is Double Rare.

Electivire ex is a Stage 1 ex Lightning Pokémon with 280 HP. In the Pokédex this is Electivire (#466), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Electabuzz. In this catalog that name is Electabuzz (#125).

Electivire (#466) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Electivire 3/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Electivire, while this one is Electivire ex. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 280 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Double Rare. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 4. 18 other cards of Electivire list a different HP.

The attack Dual Bolt lists no damage number. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. This attack does 50 damage to 2 of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) High-Voltage Press is another attack lists 180+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. If this Pokémon has at least 2 extra Energy attached (in addition to this attack's cost), this attack does 100 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 4. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is I.

I keep a set binder for Destined Rivals, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Destined Rivals set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Electivire can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
