Girafarig 66/162 · Temporal Forces

Girafarig is Pokédex #203, generation 2 (Johto). Girafarig is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 90 HP.

Girafarig sits at 66/162 in Temporal Forces, position 66 of 218. Before it is 65 Azumarill, and after it is 67 Latias. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on March 22, 2024. The printed size is 162. This checklist is longer, at 218 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Psychic Assault lists 20+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. This attack does 10 more damage for each damage counter on your opponent's Active Pokémon. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Girafarig's tail has a small head. It instinctively bites at any foe that approaches the Pokémon from behind." The regulation mark is H.

Girafarig (#203) has 13 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2024. The earliest other card is Girafarig 58/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. Both list the rarity Common. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and matazo illustrated this one. 9 other cards of Girafarig list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads matazo. I count 11 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Temporal Forces set binder is where a full Temporal Forces set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Girafarig can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
