Girafarig 83/167 · Twilight Masquerade

Girafarig is Pokédex #203, generation 2 (Johto). Girafarig is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 100 HP.

Girafarig sits at 83/167 in Twilight Masquerade, position 83 of 226. Before it is 82 Alakazam, and after it is 84 Farigiraf. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on May 24, 2024. The printed size is 167. This checklist is longer, at 226 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Dual Headbutt lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless. This attack also does 10 damage to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Girafarig's tail has a small head. It instinctively bites at any foe that approaches the Pokémon from behind." The regulation mark is H.

Girafarig (#203) has 13 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2024. The earliest other card is Girafarig 58/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. Both list the rarity Common. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Shinji Kanda illustrated this one. 12 other cards of Girafarig list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shinji Kanda. I count 25 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Twilight Masquerade set binder is where a full Twilight Masquerade set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Girafarig can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
