Thievul GG17/70 · Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery

Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on January 20, 2023. The printed size is 70, and the checklist is the same length. Thievul is GG17/70, in position 17 of 70 on this checklist. Before it is GG16 Absol, and after it is GG18 Magnezone. The listed rarity is Trainer Gallery Rare Holo.

Thievul is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Thievul (#828), generation 8 (Galar). The card says it evolves from Nickit. In this catalog that name is Nickit (#827).

NC Empire illustrated this card. The same name is on 35 other cards in the catalog.

Thievul (#828) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2020 to 2026. The earliest other card is Thievul 126/202 in Sword & Shield (2020). Both list 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Trainer Gallery Rare Holo. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and NC Empire illustrated this one. The regulation mark there is D, and here it is F. 2 other cards of Thievul list a different HP.

Baffling is listed as Ability. If your opponent has 2 or fewer Prize cards remaining, whenever your opponent plays a Supporter card from their hand, prevent all effects of that card done to your Benched Pokémon V. The attack Sharp Fang lists 110 damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Colorless. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It secretly marks potential targets with a scent. By following the scent, it stalks its targets and steals from them when they least expect it." The regulation mark is F.

I keep a set binder for Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Thievul can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer Gallery. I still need this card.
