Thievul SV082/122 · Shining Fates Shiny Vault

Thievul is Pokédex #828, generation 8 (Galar). Thievul is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Nickit. In this catalog that name is Nickit (#827).

Thievul sits at SV082/122 in Shining Fates Shiny Vault, position 82 of 122. Before it is SV081 Nickit, and after it is SV083 Impidimp. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on February 19, 2021. The printed size is 122, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Shiny.

The attack Thief lists 20 damage. The cost is Darkness. Your opponent reveals their hand. Choose a card you find there and put it on the bottom of their deck. Darkness Fang is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It secretly marks potential targets with a scent. By following the scent, it stalks its targets and steals from them when they least expect it." The regulation mark is D.

Thievul (#828) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2020 to 2026. The earliest other card is Thievul 126/202 in Sword & Shield (2020). Both list 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Rare Shiny. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. 2 other cards of Thievul list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Shining Fates Shiny Vault set binder is where a full Shining Fates Shiny Vault set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Thievul can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
