Eelektross 97/264 · Fusion Strike

Fusion Strike is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 12, 2021. The printed size is 264. This checklist is longer, at 284 cards. Eelektross is 97/264, in position 97 of 284 on this checklist. Before it is 96 Eelektrik, and after it is 98 Helioptile. The listed rarity is Rare.

Eelektross is a Stage 2 Lightning Pokémon with 160 HP. In the Pokédex this is Eelektross (#604), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Eelektrik. In this catalog that name is Eelektrik (#603).

OKACHEKE illustrated this card. The same name is on 59 other cards in the catalog.

Eelektross (#604) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Eelektross 41/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Masakazu Fukuda illustrated that card, and OKACHEKE illustrated this one. 9 other cards of Eelektross list a different HP.

The attack Upper Shock lists 40 damage. The cost is Lightning. If this Pokémon evolved from Eelektrik during this turn, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Wild Charge is another attack lists 160 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. This Pokémon also does 30 damage to itself. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "They crawl out of the ocean using their arms. They will attack prey on shore and immediately drag it into the ocean." The regulation mark is E.

I keep a set binder for Fusion Strike, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Fusion Strike set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Eelektross can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
