Eldegoss SWSH046/307 · SWSH Black Star Promos

Eldegoss is Pokédex #830, generation 8 (Galar). Eldegoss is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 80 HP. The card says it evolves from Gossifleur. In this catalog that name is Gossifleur (#829).

Eldegoss sits at SWSH046/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos, position 46 of 304. Before it is SWSH045 Eternatus VMAX, and after it is SWSH047 Drednaw. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 15, 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Blessing of Fluff lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for up to 3 Grass Energy cards and attach them to your Benched Pokémon in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck. Leafage is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "The cotton on the head of this Pokémon can be spun into a glossy, gorgeous yarn—a Galar regional specialty." The regulation mark is D.

Eldegoss (#830) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2024. The earliest other card is Eldegoss V SWSH084/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Eldegoss V, while this one is Eldegoss. That card lists 180 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Mina Nakai illustrated this one. 7 other cards of Eldegoss list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mina Nakai. I count 77 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SWSH Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SWSH Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Eldegoss can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
