Whimsicott 71/124 · Fates Collide

Whimsicott is Pokédex #547, generation 5 (Unova). Whimsicott is a Stage 1 Fairy Pokémon with 90 HP. The card says it evolves from Cottonee. In this catalog that name is Cottonee (#546).

Whimsicott sits at 71/124 in Fates Collide, position 73 of 129. Before it is 70 Cottonee, and after it is 72 Diancie-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on May 2, 2016. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 129 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Light Steps lists 40 damage. The cost is Fairy. Move an Energy from this Pokémon to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. The flavor text reads "Like the wind, it can slip through any gap, no matter how small. It leaves balls of white fluff behind."

Whimsicott (#547) has 22 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Whimsicott 11/98 in Emerging Powers (2011). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. 20 other cards of Whimsicott list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads sui. I count 194 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Fates Collide set binder is where a full Fates Collide set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Whimsicott can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
