Wormadam Plant Cloak 41/132 · Secret Wonders

Wormadam is Pokédex #413, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Wormadam Plant Cloak is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 80 HP. The card lists level 36. The card says it evolves from Burmy Plant Cloak. In this catalog that name is Burmy (#412).

Wormadam Plant Cloak sits at 41/132 in Secret Wonders, position 41 of 132. Before it is 40 Weavile, and after it is 42 Wormadam Sandy Cloak. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 November 2007. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

Plant Cloak is listed as Poké-Body. If Wormadam Plant Cloak has 2 or more Grass Energy attached to it, Wormadam Plant Cloak gets +40 HP. The attack Leaf Hurricane lists 60 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless, Colorless. If the Defending Pokémon has fewer remaining HP than Wormadam Plant Cloak, the Defending Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Fire +20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "When BURMY evolved, its cloak became a part of this Pokémon's body. The cloak is never shed."

Wormadam (#413) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2022. The earliest other card is Wormadam Sandy Cloak 42/132 in Secret Wonders (2007). That card is named Wormadam Sandy Cloak, while this one is Wormadam Plant Cloak. Both list 80 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. 9 other cards of Wormadam list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mitsuhiro Arita. I count 721 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Secret Wonders set binder is where a full Secret Wonders set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Wormadam can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
