Feraligatr 20/123 · HeartGold & SoulSilver

Feraligatr is Pokédex #160, generation 2 (Johto). Feraligatr is a Stage 2 Water Pokémon with 130 HP. The card says it evolves from Croconaw. In this catalog that name is Croconaw (#159).

Feraligatr sits at 20/123 in HeartGold & SoulSilver, position 20 of 124. Before it is 19 Farfetch'd, and after it is 21 Furret. The set belongs to the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on 10 February 2010. The printed size is 123. This checklist is longer, at 124 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Spinning Tail lists no damage number. The cost is Water, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 20 damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Surf is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Water, Water, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "When it bites with its massive and powerful jaws, it shakes its head and savagely tears its victim up."

Feraligatr (#160) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2026. The earliest other card is Feraligatr 4/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and kawayoo illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 19 other cards of Feraligatr list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads kawayoo. I count 209 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

HeartGold & SoulSilver set binder is where a full HeartGold & SoulSilver set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Feraligatr can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Johto starters. I still need this card.
