Celebi 3/102 · HS—Triumphant

Celebi is Pokédex #251, generation 2 (Johto). Celebi is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP.

Celebi sits at 3/102 in HS—Triumphant, position 3 of 103. Before it is 2 Altaria, and after it is 4 Drapion. The set belongs to the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on 3 November 2010. The printed size is 102. This checklist is longer, at 103 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Future Sight lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Look at the top 5 cards of either player's deck and put them back on top of that player's deck in any order. Leaf Bind is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "This Pokémon wanders across time. Grass and trees flourish in the forests in which it has appeared."

Celebi (#251) has 35 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 24 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Celebi 50/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Shin Nagasawa illustrated this one. 27 other cards of Celebi list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shin Nagasawa. I count 303 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

HS—Triumphant set binder is where a full HS—Triumphant set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Celebi can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
