Shiftry 15/132 · Mega Evolution

Mega Evolution is a set in the Mega Evolution series. It was released on 26 September 2025. The printed size is 132. This checklist is longer, at 188 cards. Shiftry is 15/132, in position 15 of 188 on this checklist. Before it is 14 Nuzleaf, and after it is 16 Nincada. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Shiftry is a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 160 HP. In the Pokédex this is Shiftry (#275), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card says it evolves from Nuzleaf. In this catalog that name is Nuzleaf (#274).

Shiftry (#275) has 22 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2024. The earliest other card is Shiftry 12/100 in Sandstorm (2003). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. 21 other cards of Shiftry list a different HP.

The attack Reversing Gust lists no damage number. The cost is Grass. Flip a coin. If heads, choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. Shuffle that Pokémon and all attached cards into their deck. Perplex is another attack lists 100 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The regulation mark is I.

I keep a set binder for Mega Evolution, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Mega Evolution set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Shiftry can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
