Celebi ex 17/17 · POP Series 2

POP Series 2 is a set in the POP series. It was released on 1 August 2005. The printed size is 17, and the checklist is the same length. Celebi ex is 17/17, in position 17 of 17 on this checklist. The card before it is 16 Pikachu. The listed rarity is Rare.

Celebi ex is a Basic ex Psychic Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Celebi (#251), generation 2 (Johto).

Ryo Ueda illustrated this card. The same name is on 462 other cards in the catalog.

Celebi (#251) has 35 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Celebi 50/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card is named Celebi, while this one is Celebi ex. That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. 32 other cards of Celebi list a different HP.

Time Reversal is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn, when you put Celebi ex from your hand onto your Bench, you may search your discard pile for a card, show it to your opponent, and put it on top of your deck. The attack Psychic Shield lists 30 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Celebi ex by your opponent's Pokémon-ex during your opponent's next turn. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

I keep a set binder for POP Series 2, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the POP Series 2 set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Celebi can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are POP Series. I still need this card.
