Raichu & Alolan Raichu-GX 220/236 · Unified Minds

Raichu is Pokédex #026, generation 1 (Kanto). Raichu & Alolan Raichu-GX is a Basic TAG TEAM GX Lightning Pokémon with 260 HP.

Raichu & Alolan Raichu-GX sits at 220/236 in Unified Minds, position 223 of 261. Before it is 219 Keldeo-GX, and after it is 221 Raichu & Alolan Raichu-GX. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 2 August 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 261 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

The attack Tandem Shock lists 80+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. If this Pokémon was on the Bench and became your Active Pokémon this turn, this attack does 80 more damage, and your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Lightning Ride-GX is another attack lists 150+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. Switch this Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon. If this Pokémon has at least 2 extra Lightning Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack's cost), this attack does 100 more damage. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: TAG TEAM rule: When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.

Raichu (#026) has 70 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 52 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Raichu 14/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Raichu, while this one is Raichu & Alolan Raichu-GX. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 260 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and ConceptLab illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 67 other cards of Raichu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads ConceptLab. I count 19 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Unified Minds set binder is where a full Unified Minds set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Raichu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Pikachu's friends and Alolan forms. I still need this card.
