Altaria-GX SV77/94 · Hidden Fates Shiny Vault

Altaria is Pokédex #334, generation 3 (Hoenn). Altaria-GX is a Stage 1 GX Dragon Pokémon with 200 HP. The card says it evolves from Swablu. In this catalog that name is Swablu (#333).

Altaria-GX sits at SV77/94 in Hidden Fates Shiny Vault, position 77 of 94. Before it is SV76 Sylveon-GX, and after it is SV78 Noivern-GX. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 23 August 2019. The printed size is 94, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Shiny GX.

The attack Bright Tone lists 50 damage. The cost is Fairy, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from Pokémon-GX and Pokémon-EX. Sonic Edge is another attack lists 110 damage. The cost is Water, Fairy, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon. Euphoria-GX is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Fairy, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Asleep. Heal all damage from all of your Pokémon. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Weakness is Fairy ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-GX rule: When your Pokémon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Altaria (#334) has 38 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 28 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2024. The earliest other card is Altaria 2/97 in Dragon (2003). That card is named Altaria, while this one is Altaria-GX. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 200 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Shiny GX. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 35 other cards of Altaria list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set binder is where a full Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Altaria can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
