Bisharp 116/189 · Astral Radiance

Bisharp is Pokédex #625, generation 5 (Unova). Bisharp is a Stage 1 Metal Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Pawniard. In this catalog that name is Pawniard (#624).

Bisharp sits at 116/189 in Astral Radiance, position 116 of 216. Before it is 115 Pawniard, and after it is 117 Garchomp V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 27 May 2022. The printed size is 189. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Vengeful Cut lists 30+ damage. The cost is Metal. This attack does 30 more damage for each damage counter on all of your Benched Pawniard. Slicing Blade is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Grass -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It's accompanied by a large retinue of Pawniard. Bisharp keeps a keen eye on its minions, ensuring none of them even think of double-crossing it." The regulation mark is F.

Bisharp (#625) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Bisharp 76/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and NC Empire illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 14 other cards of Bisharp list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads NC Empire. I count 35 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Astral Radiance set binder is where a full Astral Radiance set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bisharp can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
