Arceus VSTAR GG70/70 · Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery

Arceus is Pokédex #493, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Arceus VSTAR is a VSTAR Colorless Pokémon with 280 HP. The card says it evolves from Arceus V. In this catalog that name is Arceus (#493).

Arceus VSTAR sits at GG70/70 in Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery, position 70 of 70. The card before it is GG69 Giratina VSTAR. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 20 January 2023. The printed size is 70, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Secret.

Starbirth is listed as Ability. During your turn, you may search your deck for up to 2 cards and put them into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. (You can't use more than 1 VSTAR Power in a game.) The attack Trinity Nova lists 200 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Search your deck for up to 3 basic Energy cards and attach them to your Pokémon V in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: VSTAR rule: When your Pokémon VSTAR is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

Arceus (#493) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Arceus DP50/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Arceus, while this one is Arceus VSTAR. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 280 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Secret. Kunihiko Yuyama illustrated that card, and AKIRA EGAWA illustrated this one. 25 other cards of Arceus list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads AKIRA EGAWA. I count 83 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery set binder is where a full Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Arceus can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mythical Pokémon, from Sword & Shield on. I still need this card.
