SWSH Black Star Promos is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 15 November 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR is SWSH256/307, in position 256 of 304 on this checklist. Before it is SWSH255 Origin Forme Dialga V, and after it is SWSH257 Rotom V. The listed rarity is Promo.

Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR is a VSTAR Metal Pokémon with 280 HP. In the Pokédex this is Dialga (#483), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Origin Forme Dialga V. In this catalog that name is Dialga (#483).

5ban Graphics illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,629 other cards in the catalog.

Dialga (#483) has 46 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Dialga 1/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Dialga, while this one is Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 280 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 38 other cards of Dialga list a different HP.

The attack Metal Blast lists 40+ damage. The cost is Colorless. This attack does 40 more damage for each Metal Energy attached to this Pokémon. Star Chronos is another attack lists 220 damage. The cost is Metal, Metal, Metal, Metal, Colorless. Take another turn after this one. (Skip Pokémon Checkup.) (You can't use more than 1 VSTAR Power in a game.) Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Grass -30. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: VSTAR rule: When your Pokémon VSTAR is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

I keep a set binder for SWSH Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the SWSH Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Dialga can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina and Giant Pokémon. I still need this card.
