Giratina V SWSH259/307 · SWSH Black Star Promos

Giratina is Pokédex #487, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Giratina V is a Basic V Dragon Pokémon with 220 HP.

Giratina V sits at SWSH259/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos, position 259 of 304. Before it is SWSH258 Gallade V, and after it is SWSH260 Charizard V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 15 November 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Abyss Seeking lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Look at the top 4 cards of your deck and put 2 of them into your hand. Put the other cards in the Lost Zone. Shred is another attack lists 160 damage. The cost is Grass, Psychic, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

Giratina (#487) has 29 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2023. The earliest other card is Giratina LV.X DP38/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Giratina LV.X, while this one is Giratina V. That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 220 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. Shizurow illustrated that card, and PLANETA Mochizuki illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 26 other cards of Giratina list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Mochizuki. I count 131 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SWSH Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SWSH Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Giratina can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. I still need this card.
