Serperior RC3/113 · Legendary Treasures

Legendary Treasures is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on November 6, 2013. The printed size is 113. This checklist is longer, at 140 cards. Serperior is RC3/113, in position 118 of 140 on this checklist. Before it is RC2 Servine, and after it is RC4 Growlithe. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Serperior is a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 140 HP. In the Pokédex this is Serperior (#497), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Servine. In this catalog that name is Servine (#496).

Shin Nagasawa illustrated this card. The same name is on 303 other cards in the catalog.

Serperior (#497) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Serperior BW20/101 in BW Black Star Promos (2011). That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Shin Nagasawa illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 15 other cards of Serperior list a different HP.

Royal Garden is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon has any Grass Energy attached to it, this Pokémon has no Retreat Cost. The attack Solar Beam lists 80 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It only gives its all against strong opponents who are not fazed by the glare from Serperior's noble eyes."

I keep a set binder for Legendary Treasures, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Legendary Treasures set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Serperior can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
