Serperior BW20/101 · BW Black Star Promos

Serperior is Pokédex #497, generation 5 (Unova). Serperior is a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 130 HP. The card says it evolves from Servine. In this catalog that name is Servine (#496).

Serperior sits at BW20/101 in BW Black Star Promos, position 20 of 101. Before it is BW19 Zoroark, and after it is BW21 Emboar. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on March 1, 2011. The printed size is 101, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Promo.

Royal Heal is listed as Ability. At any times between turns, heal 10 damage from each of your Pokémon. The attack Leaf Tornado lists 60 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. Move as many Grass Energy attached to your Pokémon to your other Pokémon in any way you like. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Water -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "They raise their heads to intimidate opponents but only give their all when fighting a powerful opponent."

Serperior (#497) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Serperior 5/114 in Black & White (2011). Both list 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 13 other cards of Serperior list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

BW Black Star Promos set binder is where a full BW Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Serperior can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
