Serperior 13/149 · Boundaries Crossed

Serperior is Pokédex #497, generation 5 (Unova). Serperior is a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 140 HP. The card says it evolves from Servine. In this catalog that name is Servine (#496).

Serperior sits at 13/149 in Boundaries Crossed, position 13 of 153. Before it is 12 Servine, and after it is 14 Cottonee. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on November 7, 2012. The printed size is 149. This checklist is longer, at 153 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Double Slash lists 50× damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. Flip 2 coins. This attack does 50 damage times the number of heads. Mega Drain is another attack lists 70 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless, Colorless. Heal 30 damage from this Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It can stop its opponents' movements with just a glare. It takes in solar energy and boosts it internally."

Serperior (#497) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Serperior BW20/101 in BW Black Star Promos (2011). That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Mizue illustrated this one. 15 other cards of Serperior list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mizue. I count 184 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Boundaries Crossed set binder is where a full Boundaries Crossed set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Serperior can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
