kawayoo illustrated this card. The same name is on 209 other cards in the catalog.

Beartic (#614) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Beartic 30/98 in Emerging Powers (2011). That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and kawayoo illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Beartic list a different HP.

The attack Daunt lists 40 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, any damage done by attack from the Defending Pokémon is reduced by 20 (before applying Weakness and Resistance). Ambush is another attack lists 60+ damage. The cost is Water, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 30 more damage. Weakness is Metal ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "It can make its breath freeze at will. Very able in the water, it swims around in northern seas and catches prey."

I keep a set binder for Next Destinies, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Next Destinies set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Beartic can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
