Rianti Hidayat illustrated this card. The same name is on 7 other cards in the catalog.

Beartic (#614) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Beartic 30/98 in Emerging Powers (2011). That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Rianti Hidayat illustrated this one. 8 other cards of Beartic list a different HP.

The attack Sheer Cold lists 40 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, the Defending Pokémon can't attack. Frost Smash is another attack lists 130 damage. The cost is Water, Water, Colorless. Weakness is Metal ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "It swims through frigid seas, searching for prey. From its frozen breath, it forms icy fangs that are harder than steel." The regulation mark is F.

I keep a set binder for Brilliant Stars, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Brilliant Stars set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Beartic can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). Themed lists that include this exact card are Holiday: Delibird and festive friends. I still need this card.
