Bisharp 79/108 · Dark Explorers

Bisharp is Pokédex #625, generation 5 (Unova). Bisharp is a Stage 1 Metal Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Pawniard. In this catalog that name is Pawniard (#624).

Bisharp sits at 79/108 in Dark Explorers, position 79 of 111. Before it is 78 Pawniard, and after it is 80 Chansey. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on May 9, 2012. The printed size is 108. This checklist is longer, at 111 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Aerial Ace lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 more damage. Metal Claw is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Metal, Metal, Colorless. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Bisharp pursues prey in the company of a large group of Pawniard. Then Bisharp finishes off the prey."

Bisharp (#625) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Bisharp 76/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Naoki Saito illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 17 other cards of Bisharp list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Naoki Saito. I count 270 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dark Explorers set binder is where a full Dark Explorers set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bisharp can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
