Bisharp 64/114 · Steam Siege

Steam Siege is a set in the XY series. It was released on August 3, 2016. The printed size is 114. This checklist is longer, at 116 cards. Bisharp is 64/114, in position 64 of 116 on this checklist. Before it is 63 Pawniard, and after it is 65 Yveltal. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Bisharp is a Stage 1 Darkness Metal Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Bisharp (#625), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Pawniard. In this catalog that name is Pawniard (#624).

Shin Nagasawa illustrated this card. The same name is on 303 other cards in the catalog.

Bisharp (#625) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Bisharp 76/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare Holo. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Shin Nagasawa illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 17 other cards of Bisharp list a different HP.

The attack Retaliate lists 30+ damage. The cost is Colorless. If any of your Pokémon were Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack during his or her last turn, this attack does 60 more damage. Mach Claw is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by Resistance. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Bisharp pursues prey in the company of a large group of Pawniard. Then Bisharp finishes off the prey."

I keep a set binder for Steam Siege, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Steam Siege set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bisharp can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
