Drifblim 51/124 · Dragons Exalted

Dragons Exalted is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on August 15, 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. Drifblim is 51/124, in position 51 of 128 on this checklist. Before it is 50 Drifloon, and after it is 52 Sigilyph. The listed rarity is Rare.

Drifblim is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Drifblim (#426), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Drifloon. In this catalog that name is Drifloon (#425).

Kanako Eo illustrated this card. The same name is on 99 other cards in the catalog.

Drifblim (#426) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2024. The earliest other card is Drifblim 24/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Kanako Eo illustrated this one. 13 other cards of Drifblim list a different HP.

The attack Shadow Steal lists 50× damage. The cost is Colorless. Does 50 damage times the number of Special Energy cards in your opponent's discard pile. Plentiful Placement is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Put 4 damage counters on 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "At dusk, swarms of them are carried aloft on winds. When noticed, they suddenly vanish."

I keep a set binder for Dragons Exalted, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Dragons Exalted set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Drifblim can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
