Drifblim 12/90 · HS—Undaunted

HS—Undaunted is a set in the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on August 18, 2010. The printed size is 90. This checklist is longer, at 91 cards. Drifblim is 12/90, in position 12 of 91 on this checklist. Before it is 11 Dodrio, and after it is 13 Forretress. The listed rarity is Rare.

Drifblim is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Drifblim (#426), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Drifloon. In this catalog that name is Drifloon (#425).

Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this card. The same name is on 656 other cards in the catalog.

Drifblim (#426) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2024. The earliest other card is Drifblim 24/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. 15 other cards of Drifblim list a different HP.

The attack Balloon Tackle lists 60 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Drifblim does 20 damage to itself. Take Away is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Shuffle Drifblim and all cards attached to it back into your deck. Then, your opponent shuffles the Defending Pokémon and all cards attached to it into his or her deck. (You choose your new Active Pokémon first.) Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Colorless -20. The flavor text reads "It can generate and release gas within its body. That's how it can control the altitude of its drift."

I keep a set binder for HS—Undaunted, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the HS—Undaunted set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Drifblim can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
