Lunala 15/25 · Celebrations

Celebrations is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on October 8, 2021. The printed size is 25, and the checklist is the same length. Lunala is 15/25, in position 15 of 25 on this checklist. Before it is 14 Cosmoem, and after it is 16 Zacian V. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Lunala is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 160 HP. In the Pokédex this is Lunala (#792), generation 7 (Alola). The card says it evolves from Cosmoem. In this catalog that name is Cosmoem (#790).

kirisAki illustrated this card. The same name is on 189 other cards in the catalog.

Lunala (#792) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lunala-GX 66/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). That card is named Lunala-GX, while this one is Lunala. That card lists 250 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo GX, and here it is Rare Holo. PLANETA illustrated that card, and kirisAki illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Lunala list a different HP.

The attack Lunar Pain lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Double the number of damage counters on each of your opponent's Pokémon. Psychic Shot is another attack lists 130 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. This attack also does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It sometimes summons unknown powers and life-forms here to this world from holes that lead to other worlds." The regulation mark is E.

I keep a set binder for Celebrations, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Celebrations set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lunala can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
