Zacian V 16/25 · Celebrations

Zacian is Pokédex #888, generation 8 (Galar). Zacian V is a Basic V Psychic Pokémon with 220 HP.

Zacian V sits at 16/25 in Celebrations, position 16 of 25. Before it is 15 Lunala, and after it is 17 Groudon. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on October 8, 2021. The printed size is 25, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo V.

Roar of the Sword is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, you may search your deck for a Psychic Energy card and attach it to 1 of your Pokémon. Then, shuffle your deck. If you use this Ability, your turn ends. The attack Storm Slash lists 60+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 30 more damage for each Psychic Energy attached to this Pokémon. Weakness is Metal ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is E.

Zacian (#888) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2026. The earliest other card is Zacian V SWSH018/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). Both list 220 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo V. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. The regulation mark there is D, and here it is E. 17 other cards of Zacian list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mitsuhiro Arita. I count 721 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Celebrations set binder is where a full Celebrations set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Zacian can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
