Leafeon 13/95 · Call of Legends

Call of Legends is a set in the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on February 9, 2011. The printed size is 95. This checklist is longer, at 106 cards. Leafeon is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Leafeon (#470), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Eevee. In this catalog that name is Eevee (#133).

match illustrated this card. The same name is on 143 other cards in the catalog.

Leafeon (#470) has 33 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Leafeon 7/100 in Majestic Dawn (2008). Both list 90 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and match illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 26 other cards of Leafeon list a different HP.

The attack Miasma Wind lists 50× damage. The cost is Colorless. Does 50 damage times the number of Special Conditions affecting the Defending Pokémon. Sooting Scent is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Water -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "When you see Leafeon asleep in a patch of sunshine, you'll know it is using photosynthesis to produce clean air."

I keep a set binder for Call of Legends, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Call of Legends set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Leafeon can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions. I still need this card.
