Leafeon 7/100 · Majestic Dawn

Leafeon is Pokédex #470, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Leafeon is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 42. The card says it evolves from Eevee. In this catalog that name is Eevee (#133).

Leafeon sits at 7/100 in Majestic Dawn, position 7 of 100. Before it is 6 Kabutops, and after it is 8 Manaphy. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2008. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Bind Down lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. The Defending Pokémon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn. Leaf Guard is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, any damage done to Leafeon by attacks is reduced by 20 (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Weakness is Fire +20. Resistance is Water -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Just like a plant, it uses photosynthesis. As a result, it is always enveloped in clear air."

Leafeon (#470) has 33 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Leafeon 24/100 in Majestic Dawn (2008). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Rare Holo. Masakazu Fukuda illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 26 other cards of Leafeon list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Majestic Dawn set binder is where a full Majestic Dawn set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Leafeon can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions. I still need this card.
