Great Encounters is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on February 1, 2008. The printed size is 106, and the checklist is the same length. Darkrai LV.X is 104/106, in position 104 of 106 on this checklist. Before it is 103 Cresselia LV.X, and after it is 105 Dialga LV.X. The listed rarity is Rare Holo LV.X.
Darkrai LV.X is a Level-Up Darkness Pokémon with 100 HP. The card lists level X. In the Pokédex this is Darkrai (#491), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Darkrai. In this catalog that name is Darkrai (#491).
Shizurow illustrated this card. The same name is on 79 other cards in the catalog.
Darkrai (#491) has 40 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Darkrai LV.X DP19/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). Both list 100 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo LV.X. 39 other cards of Darkrai list a different HP.
Dark Shadow is listed as Poké-Body. Each basic Darkness Energy card attached to your Darkness Pokémon now has the effect "If the Pokémon Darkness Energy is attached to attacks, the attack does 10 more damage to the Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance)." You can't use more than 1 Dark Shadow Poké-Body each turn. The attack Endless Darkness lists 40 damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Colorless. The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Flip 2 coins instead of 1 between turns. If either of them is tails, the Defending Pokémon is still Asleep. If both of them are tails, the Defending Pokémon is Knocked Out. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Put this card onto your Active Darkrai. Darkrai LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.
I keep a set binder for Great Encounters, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Great Encounters set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Darkrai can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Pokémon LV.X. I still need this card.
