Bellossom H5/147 · Aquapolis

Bellossom is Pokédex #182, generation 2 (Johto). Bellossom is a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 90 HP. The card says it evolves from Gloom. In this catalog that name is Gloom (#044).

Bellossom sits at H5/147 in Aquapolis, position 155 of 182. Before it is H4 Azumarill, and after it is H6 Blissey. The set belongs to the E-Card series. It was released on January 15, 2003. The printed size is 147. This checklist is longer, at 182 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Flower Supplement is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, attach 1 basic Energy card from your hand to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. This power can't be used if Bellossom is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Knife Leaf lists 30× damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Colorless. Flip 3 coins. This attack does 30 damage times the number of heads. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Water -30. Retreat cost is 2.

Bellossom (#182) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2023. The earliest other card is Bellossom 3/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Sumiyoshi Kizuki illustrated this one. 9 other cards of Bellossom list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Sumiyoshi Kizuki. I count 212 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Aquapolis set binder is where a full Aquapolis set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bellossom can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
