Bellossom 1/90 · HS—Undaunted

HS—Undaunted is a set in the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on August 18, 2010. The printed size is 90. This checklist is longer, at 91 cards. Bellossom is 1/90, in position 1 of 91 on this checklist. The next card is 2 Espeon. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Bellossom is a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 110 HP. In the Pokédex this is Bellossom (#182), generation 2 (Johto). The card says it evolves from Gloom. In this catalog that name is Gloom (#044).

Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this card. The same name is on 721 other cards in the catalog.

Bellossom (#182) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2023. The earliest other card is Bellossom 3/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 10 other cards of Bellossom list a different HP.

Hustle Step is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may remove 1 damage counter from each of your Pokémon. This power can't be used if Bellossom is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Dance 'til Dawn lists 30× damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. Flip 3 coins. This attack does 30 damage times the number of heads. Bellossom is now Asleep. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Water -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Bellossom gather at times and seem to dance. They say that the dance is a ritual to summon the sun."

I keep a set binder for HS—Undaunted, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the HS—Undaunted set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bellossom can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
