Celebi 145/144 · Skyridge

Celebi is Pokédex #251, generation 2 (Johto). Celebi is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 60 HP.

Celebi sits at 145/144 in Skyridge, position 145 of 182. Before it is 144 Retro Energy, and after it is 146 Charizard. The set belongs to the E-Card series. It was released on May 12, 2003. The printed size is 144. This checklist is longer, at 182 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 144. The listed rarity is Rare Secret.

Crystal Type is listed as Poké-Body. Whenever you attach a Grass, Water, or Psychic basic Energy card from your hand to Celebi, Celebi's type (color) becomes the same as that type of Energy until the end of the turn. The attack Empathic Healing lists no damage number. The cost is Grass, Water. Remove 2 damage counters from Celebi and each Pokémon that's the same type (color) as Celebi. Mind Bend is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Grass, Psychic, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

Celebi (#251) has 35 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Celebi 50/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Secret. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. 31 other cards of Celebi list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mitsuhiro Arita. I count 721 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Skyridge set binder is where a full Skyridge set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Celebi can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
