Dark Celebi 4/101 · Hidden Legends

Celebi is Pokédex #251, generation 2 (Johto). Dark Celebi is a Basic Grass Darkness Pokémon with 70 HP.

Dark Celebi sits at 4/101 in Hidden Legends, position 4 of 102. Before it is 3 Crobat, and after it is 5 Electrode. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on June 1, 2004. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 102 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Dark Provide lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Attach up to 1 Grass or Darkness Energy card from your hand to your Pokémon. Leaf Poison is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Grass, Darkness. The Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: This Pokémon is both GrassDarkness type.

Celebi (#251) has 35 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Celebi 50/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card is named Celebi, while this one is Dark Celebi. That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Ken Ikuji illustrated this one. 27 other cards of Celebi list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ken Ikuji. I count 16 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Hidden Legends set binder is where a full Hidden Legends set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Celebi can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Team Rocket cards. I still need this card.
