Celebi 3/64 · Neo Revelation

Celebi is Pokédex #251, generation 2 (Johto). Celebi is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 50 HP. The card lists level 16.

Celebi sits at 3/64 in Neo Revelation, position 3 of 66. Before it is 2 Blissey, and after it is 4 Crobat. The set belongs to the Neo series. It was released on September 21, 2001. The printed size is 64. This checklist is longer, at 66 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Time Travel is listed as Pokémon Power. If an opponent's attack would Knock Out Celebi, flip a coin. If heads, Celebi isn't Knocked Out and you shuffle it and all cards attached to it into your deck. This power doesn't work if Celebi is already Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed. The attack Psychic Damage lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Flip 3 coins. For each heads, put 1 damage counter on the Defending Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "This Pokémon wanders across time. Grass and trees flourish in the forests in which it has appeared."

Celebi (#251) has 35 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 24 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Celebi 50/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). Both list 50 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Hironobu Yoshida illustrated this one. 31 other cards of Celebi list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hironobu Yoshida. I count 38 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Neo Revelation set binder is where a full Neo Revelation set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Celebi can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
