Elekid δ 48/101 · Dragon Frontiers

Dragon Frontiers is a set in the EX series. It was released on November 1, 2006. The printed size is 101, and the checklist is the same length. Elekid δ is 48/101, in position 48 of 101 on this checklist. Before it is 47 Ekans δ, and after it is 49 Feebas δ. The listed rarity is Common.

Elekid δ is a Basic Fighting Pokémon with 40 HP. In the Pokédex this is Elekid (#239), generation 2 (Johto). The card lists Electabuzz, Electabuzz (#125) under evolves to.

Ken Sugimori illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,112 other cards in the catalog.

Elekid (#239) has 7 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2023. The earliest other card is Elekid 22/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card is named Elekid, while this one is Elekid δ. That card lists 30 HP, and this one lists 40 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Common. Miki Tanaka illustrated that card, and Ken Sugimori illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Elekid list a different HP.

Baby Evolution is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may put Electabuzz from your hand onto Elekid (this counts as evolving Elekid) and remove all damage counters from Elekid. The attack Thunder Spear lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 10 damage to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Dragon Frontiers, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Dragon Frontiers set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Elekid can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Delta Species cards and Baby Pokémon. I still need this card.
