Medicham 34/108 · Power Keepers

Power Keepers is a set in the EX series. It was released on February 2, 2007. The printed size is 108, and the checklist is the same length. Medicham is 34/108, in position 34 of 108 on this checklist. Before it is 33 Machoke, and after it is 35 Metang. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Medicham is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Medicham (#308), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card says it evolves from Meditite. In this catalog that name is Meditite (#307).

Tomoaki Imakuni illustrated this card. The same name is on 13 other cards in the catalog.

Medicham (#308) has 24 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2004 to 2026. The earliest other card is Medicham 10/101 in Hidden Legends (2004). Both list 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Tomoaki Imakuni illustrated this one. 21 other cards of Medicham list a different HP.

Vigorous Aura is listed as Poké-Body. As long as Medicham is your Active Pokémon, attacks by each player's Active Pokémon do 10 more damage to any Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Punch lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Rolling Kick is another attack lists 40 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Power Keepers, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Power Keepers set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Medicham can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
