Medicham 42/101 · Hidden Legends

Medicham is Pokédex #308, generation 3 (Hoenn). Medicham is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 80 HP. The card says it evolves from Meditite. In this catalog that name is Meditite (#307).

Medicham sits at 42/101 in Hidden Legends, position 42 of 102. Before it is 41 Machoke, and after it is 43 Metang. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on June 1, 2004. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 102 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Steady Punch lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 damage plus 10 more damage. Power Heal is another attack lists 10+ damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. Does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on Medicham. After doing damage, remove 1 damage counter from Medicham. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

Medicham (#308) has 24 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2004 to 2026. The earliest other card is Medicham 10/101 in Hidden Legends (2004). Both list 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Ken Sugimori illustrated this one. 21 other cards of Medicham list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ken Sugimori. I count 1,112 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Hidden Legends set binder is where a full Hidden Legends set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Medicham can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
