Mega Eelektross ex 278/217 · Ascended Heroes

Eelektross is Pokédex #604, generation 5 (Unova). Mega Eelektross ex is a Stage 2 MEGA ex Lightning Pokémon with 350 HP. The card says it evolves from Eelektrik. In this catalog that name is Eelektrik (#603).

Mega Eelektross ex sits at 278/217 in Ascended Heroes, position 278 of 295. Before it is 277 Pikachu ex, and after it is 279 Iono's Bellibolt ex. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on January 30, 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 217. The listed rarity is Special Illustration Rare.

The attack Split Bomb lists no damage number. The cost is Lightning, Lightning. This attack does 60 damage to each of 2 of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Disaster Shock is another attack lists 190 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Lightning. You may discard 2 Lightning Energy from this Pokémon and make your opponent's Active Pokémon Paralyzed. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The card text says: Mega Evolution ex Rule: When your Mega Evolution Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards. The regulation mark is I.

Eelektross (#604) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Eelektross 41/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card is named Eelektross, while this one is Mega Eelektross ex. That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 350 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Special Illustration Rare. Masakazu Fukuda illustrated that card, and akagi illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 12 other cards of Eelektross list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads akagi. I count 20 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ascended Heroes set binder is where a full Ascended Heroes set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Eelektross can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
