Porygon-Z 157/214 · Unbroken Bonds

Porygon-Z is Pokédex #474, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Porygon-Z is a Stage 2 Colorless Pokémon with 130 HP. The card says it evolves from Porygon2. In this catalog that name is Porygon2 (#233).

Porygon-Z sits at 157/214 in Unbroken Bonds, position 157 of 238. Before it is 156 Porygon2, and after it is 158 Snorlax. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on May 3, 2019. The printed size is 214. This checklist is longer, at 238 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Crazy Code is listed as Ability. As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may attach a Special Energy card from your hand to 1 of your Pokémon. The attack Tantrum lists 120 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. This Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Its behavior is noticeably unstable, which is apparently due to the incompetence of the engineer who updated its programming."

Porygon-Z (#474) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Porygon-Z DP35/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Misa Tsutsui illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Porygon-Z list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Misa Tsutsui. I count 94 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Unbroken Bonds set binder is where a full Unbroken Bonds set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Porygon-Z can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
