Mismagius 78/214 · Unbroken Bonds

Mismagius is Pokédex #429, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Mismagius is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 110 HP. The card says it evolves from Misdreavus. In this catalog that name is Misdreavus (#200).

Mismagius sits at 78/214 in Unbroken Bonds, position 78 of 238. Before it is 77 Misdreavus, and after it is 79 Espurr. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on May 3, 2019. The printed size is 214. This checklist is longer, at 238 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

Mysterious Message is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may draw cards until you have 7 cards in your hand. If you drew any cards in this way, this Pokémon is Knocked Out. The attack Hypnoblast lists 70 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Asleep. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Feared for its wrath and the curses it spreads, this Pokémon will also, on a whim, cast spells that help people."

Mismagius (#429) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mismagius 10/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Mikiko Takeda illustrated that card, and sui illustrated this one. 17 other cards of Mismagius list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads sui. I count 194 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Unbroken Bonds set binder is where a full Unbroken Bonds set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mismagius can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
