Bisharp 135/236 · Cosmic Eclipse

Bisharp is Pokédex #625, generation 5 (Unova). Bisharp is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Pawniard. In this catalog that name is Pawniard (#624).

Bisharp sits at 135/236 in Cosmic Eclipse, position 135 of 272. Before it is 134 Pawniard, and after it is 136 Guzzlord. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 1, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 272 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Corner lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless. The Defending Pokémon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn. Slashing Strike is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless. This Pokémon can't use Slashing Strike during your next turn. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "No matter how strong the Bisharp, it's said that if the blade on its head is chipped, it will retire from its position as the boss."

Bisharp (#625) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Bisharp 76/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and SATOSHI NAKAI illustrated this one. 14 other cards of Bisharp list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads SATOSHI NAKAI. I count 58 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Cosmic Eclipse set binder is where a full Cosmic Eclipse set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bisharp can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
