Wigglytuff 134/214 · Lost Thunder

Wigglytuff is Pokédex #040, generation 1 (Kanto). Wigglytuff is a Stage 1 Fairy Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Jigglypuff. In this catalog that name is Jigglypuff (#039).

Wigglytuff sits at 134/214 in Lost Thunder, position 134 of 240. Before it is 133 Jigglypuff, and after it is 135 Marill. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 2, 2018. The printed size is 214. This checklist is longer, at 240 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Expand lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Charmed Slap is another attack lists 70+ damage. The cost is Fairy, Colorless, Colorless. If this Pokémon has a Pokémon Tool card that has "Fairy Charm" in its name attached to it, this attack does 70 more damage. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "As it inhales, it expands…and expands…and expands. Wigglytuff compete to see which one can inflate itself the most."

Wigglytuff (#040) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 21 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Wigglytuff 16/64 in Jungle (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one. 22 other cards of Wigglytuff list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads nagimiso. I count 156 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Lost Thunder set binder is where a full Lost Thunder set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Wigglytuff can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
