Bisharp 134/202 · Sword & Shield

Bisharp is Pokédex #625, generation 5 (Unova). Bisharp is a Stage 1 Metal Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Pawniard. In this catalog that name is Pawniard (#624).

Bisharp sits at 134/202 in Sword & Shield, position 134 of 216. Before it is 133 Pawniard, and after it is 135 Corviknight. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on February 7, 2020. The printed size is 202. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Charge Order lists 30+ damage. The cost is Colorless. This attack does 30 more damage for each of your Benched Pawniard. Slicing Blade is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Grass -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Violent conflicts erupt between Bisharp and Fraxure over places where sharpening stones can be found." The regulation mark is D.

Bisharp (#625) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Bisharp 76/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and kawayoo illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 14 other cards of Bisharp list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads kawayoo. I count 209 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Sword & Shield set binder is where a full Sword & Shield set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bisharp can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
